Our courses are held in-person twice a week at our location.

The courses are for adult learners only and the spots in each group are limited.

JAPANESE BEGINNERS COURSE

2-year course for complete beginners that will allow you to build a strong foundation in Japanese language.

Year 1

Group 1: Tuesdays and Thursdays 4.00-5.15 pm

​Group 2: Tuesdays and Thursdays 5.30-6.45 pm

​

Year 2

Tuesdays 7.00-8.15 pm and Saturdays 9.00-10.15 am

JAPANESE PRE-INTERMEDIATE COURSE

This course is for students who are looking to continue their studies and is designed for those who have completed Japanese Year 1&2 course. Placement test is required to join this course.

Thursdays 7.00-8.15 pm and Saturdays 10.30-11.45 am

​PRIVATE CLASSES

​Customized program according to the students' objectives. Includes conversation classes, preparation to JLPT (N5-N3), reading comprehension, preparing to living in Japan. 

​

Private Classes

Students go through an evaluation and get a personalized program based on their current level and objectives.

​

Small Group Classes

(2 or more students)

After taking a placement test, students are placed in a group of students of the same level. The program is designed to meet their objectives.

 2025 Summer Course 

Communicative Strategies in Japanese
June 17 - July 10 (8 classes)

​

The course is aimed at building and improving communication skills in Japanese and focused primarily on conversation and listening. The course is built around topics. The lessons include learning vocabulary, expressions and grammar, and practicing using them in a specific context. We will cover 1 topic from the Marugoto: Japanese Language and Culture series textbook for the duration of the course.

Beginner Level

This course is for students who have experience studying Japanese and wish to be able to use Japanese in a conversation more effectively. The course will be suitable for students who can

​

  • fully read and write hiragana and katakana

  • communicate on simple topics of conversation

  • introduce themselves and describe their immediate environment.

 

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays 5.30-6.45 pm

Textbook: Marugoto Elementary 1 (A2) Katsudoo

Pre-Intermediate Level

The course is for students who have a base in Japanese and are looking to improve their listening and speaking ability and being able to converse more effectively.  

 

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays 7.00-8.15 pm

Textbook: Marugoto Pre-Intermediate A2/B1

Registration and fees

Course fees: $130.

The textbook is not included in the course fees and has to be purchased separately before the class starts.

The course fees are non-refundable.

​
